Brixton Dental Care

My treatment was well undertaken and a successful outcome was achieved leading to me total satisfaction. I would recommend the practice to anybody needing treatment.

I am a nervous patient and had a tooth removed at Dentistry for you, Brixton. The Dentist was amazing, working at a pace that suited me and kept me calm and reassured at all times.

I am a very very anxious patient. I was in severe pain and am not registered with a dentist. I dialled 111 and got an emergency appointment. The dentist I saw said the tooth would need to come out, and he would refer me to Kings Hospital, but I had to come back for him to take a Xray for the referral to be complete and this could not take place at that time. I re booked with reception who could not offer me an appointment until April and I was a bit exasperated as in a lot of pain and the thought of waiting until April purely for the referral let alone the extraction which could be months from then completely overwhelmed me. The receptionist said there was another option, he could offer me an appointment the following week if I was prepared to pay £30. I agreed. When I arrived at the appointment (having been kept waiting over half an hour) I was seen. It was a different dentist and he was hostile from the start. I was nervous and got into the chair, only to receive strong words for putting down my bag an coat next to me as they would be in his way. Next I was told I needed to be registered with a dentist before the referral could take place. Why could this have not been mentioned at the previous appointment or indeed register me. Next I was told he probably couldn't do the X ray as was in an awkward place, he would try but I would have to be prepared to suffer. Again, why was this not mentioned at the previous appointment. When I questioned the conflicting outcomes I was met with defensiveness and rudeness and left, since it is 2025 and we are allowed to question the treatment of our own anatomy and ask for an understanding of that treatment, we are not lab rats, and anyone practising medicine should have the skills and capabilities to deal with that. This "gentleman" did not and we need to rid the profession of such characters. I have made my complaints formal with the respecting statutory bodies.

Dentist was really disrespectful

The dentist and the assistant were very nice and jovial. The dentist is very professional and makes life very easy. He answered all the questions I asked him and advised me more on what to do with my teeth. Thank you so much.

Helpful staff, was dealt with quickly and easily

I had a late night emergency dental appointment, I was seen swiftly and my issue was resolved with little to no pain

I needed an emergency “out of hours” appointment as I had really bad tooth pain and that is exactly what was provided. Very short waiting time and helpful dentist and receptionist staff. Great experience. Thank you

I was in so much pain when I arrived for an emergency appointment at 11pm at the practice. The receptionist, dental nurse and dentist were all so kind.
The treatment eased my discomfort and the dentist even searched for a late night chemist so I could collect antibiotics.
I am so grateful to them all.

The dentist and nurse were very friendly. The dentist explained his actions at every step and what the next steps were. He was very patient and attentive, really listening to what I was saying. I didn’t feel pushed into further treatment and was very happy with the dentist choosing preventative measures.

I suffer from anxiety but feel very comfortable coming to this clinic
