Extraction

I attended today for an extraction.
The procedure was explained and I was consulted as to whether I was happy to proceed.
I was given ample time for the anaesthetic to be effective.
The extraction proved difficult as it was a crowned tooth which broke.
I was given time to recover before the root was extracted.
Both Charlie and her nurse were supportive and reassuring when I became a little distressed with the procedure.
Possible complications and aftercare were explained and I was given time to recover before leaving the surgery.
I continue to be very grateful that the surgery maintains an NHS list.
