Very clearly set out options
Attended a dental checkup today and Dr Kumar was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained each step of the checkup and very clearly set out options in terms of future dental work and prices. Very happy with the quality of service.

My experience
Great that finally they have an nhs dentist doing my work although having to travel from Peterborough then treatment stretched out over months I'm still without front teeth. Asked to hand in at next appointment my gold tooth and platinum set crown after the abscess. The teeth were pushed out by infection. I brought the teeth to the next appointment and was given antibiotics but I did not have the large abscess drained in the surgery as I would have expected or liked rather the option was medication to deal with it. I asked where my teeth weren’t brought back, told they were disposed of, there was a value to them I’d have thought tests done to determine the infection but the teeth would be returned. Re the abscess: The discharge drainage made me feel very ill, certainly would have been better to have had the abscess drained
I guess that is practice policy just thought worth mentioning.

My Dentist Maddie and her lovely assistant Leah, are personable, pleasant and professional.
I have been attending Roderick’s Dental practice for a few years now.
In which time I have received:-
- personalised care,
- delivered in a conducive, happy atmosphere,
- incredible tips and
- advice to improve my dental hygiene
- and now …….greatly ……. improved gums and teeth.
At a time when there are acute shortages of qualified and suitable practitioners, I feel blessed to have loyal, extremely hardworking professionals to care for me.
