I would recommend this practice as extremely professional, competent and safe, especially in these Covid times. A pleasure to attend the Dentist (almost!). Update: A special thanks for sorting out my root canal so close to Xmas. Thank you all.

"I am a rather anxious person. Dr Barry Holmes put me at ease, answered all my questions on implants. The Hygienist did an excellent work. I also found his staff very attentive and caring.

My son had a brace fitted at the dental hospital and he needed a gum shield for contact sport. I contacted lots of orthodontists and dentists in Cardiff and was told that because they didn’t fit the brace and because he wasn’t a patient of that practice they couldn’t give him a orthodontic gum shield. Other dental receptionists couldn’t be bothered to check if that was a service they provided and didn’t bother to check and phone me back as requested. I phoned Holmes dentist in Whitchurch and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. They confirmed that it was definitely something they could help me out with and made an appointment for the next working day. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist. The practice is lovely and clean with drinking water available in the waiting area. My son saw Barry who was really lovely and made my son feel at ease and explained the procedure of taking a mould if his teeth. He was extremely knowledgeable. The turnaround for the gum shield was extremely quick - 2 days! Which meant my son didn’t miss out on his first game of contact rugby. I would give this dental practice a 5 star rating and will definitely return when the need arises. Thanks so much.

After a nasty accident I lost my front teeth and a lot of confidence too. I was however lucky enough to work in healthcare and gain professional recommendations on who to trust in giving me my confidence back. After the first consultation it wasn't hard to see why Dr Barry Holmes and his wonderful nurses came so highly recommended. Barry was always kind, honest and professional which made my visits in that chair so much easier. His pride in his work has given me two beautiful front teeth and for the first time in two years I can smile with confidence, which is absolutely priceless.
