I started my treatment to improve my teeth and smile In January 2022. I was a child when dentists drilled, filled and crowned a teenagers teeth if they needed it or not. Over my journey to date I have had 5 implants and one crown. The whole experience has been outstanding. The fear of loosing my teeth due to previous experiences has now gone.
Barry Holmes talked me through each step of my treatment. Nothing has gone wrong or have I suffered unlike some of my previous experience with other dentists.
The dental facilities and equipment are the latest technology. The staff welcome you and make you feel at ease from the moment you step foot into the practice.
I am pleased with the results, people frequently say to me that I have nice teeth.
There is more work to be done, I am no longer frightened as I know what to expect I can not thank and praise Barry Holmes Dental care enough and would recommend anyone who needs extensive work to make an appointment to start on their journey to a better set of teeth that people will compliment you on.

I have been on a journey to get my teeth up to scratch with Barry Holmes, I have had two implants on the bottom jaw, amalgam fillings removed and replaced with new overlays, the next step is veneers on my front teeth and two crowns, as you can see a variety of work, so far it has been pain free and not as time consuming as I had envisaged. The professionalism hits you when you first enter the surgery, staff are welcoming and put you at ease, and when you go into the dental suite the modern equipment just wows you, Barry runs through your treatment on each visit and this last visit I had my implants finished, I can’t express the feeling of joy leaving the practice I’m still on cloud nine, the technology and equipment used is first class, hygiene is outstanding, and most importantly you have one of the top dentists in its field undertaking your dentistry, my treatment has been above and beyond my expectations. And finally working for the NHS having insight into the installation of treatment rooms and equipment I can comfortably say this practice is first class.

I have had a dental phobia all my adult life.
I was in need of treatment which included the removal of 3 teeth.
I was treated like a v.i.p from the moment I entered the clinic.
I was treated with care,sympathy and understanding.
I was never pressured or made to feel awkward regarding my phobia.
The treatment was throughly explained and at any time I felt I couldn't continue I was told the treatment could stop till I felt ready.
I opted for sedation and was treated once again like a v.i.p and felt very reassured and trusting of all the staff.
I have had the treatment and everything went to plan!
I am now pain free after 2 years of taking pain killers.
I will be a returning patient and I have so much confidence in the staff and their expertise that I will carry on my treatments without sedation!
Something I never thought would be possible!
Amazing staff and very highly skilled.
You will not find a better dental clinic.

Thank you to Barry, Nikki, Carolyn and all the team, you have been amazing. My journey to having a lovely smile took a year but it was so worth it.
I was kept informed the whole time, Barrie made sure I was happy every step of the way, everyone was so helpful, attentive and caring.
I had implants and all on 4 bridge, the treatment was quite invasive at times but not once did I experience any pain during each procedure or after the anaesthetic had worn off, maybe an aching mouth but not painful.
I cannot recommend Barry and the team enough, excellent care and treatment.

A friend recommended Holmes Dental to me as I wanted Invisalign for my wedding. I am really pleased I chose Barry and his practice to carry out my treatment. The whole team has been professional from start to finish and nothing has been too much trouble for them.

I needed 1 tooth extracted and then moved on to implants, bone graft. TBH I am terrified of dentists, bad childhood memories. However everything was explained thoroughly, Barry was extremely kind, professional a perfect dentist with great technical knowledge. Apart from one very minor discomfort having the injection, which was a nano second, I did not have any pain at all. Even after the injection wore off I can happily report no pain just a slight swelling. The clinical is calming and cool. The staff I came into contact with were wonderful, looking forward to a new brighter smile, thanks guys.
