Root canal treatment
I recently had an abcess on a molar. I was seen by Pavan very quickly. Initially it wasn't obvious which of 2 teeth was the problem so Pavan prescribed antibiotics to help and eventually an abscess appeared on the gum but the antibiotics helped. Pavan then started treatment which was difficult as the problem was in a crowned tooth. He showed immense patience, skill and gentleness as he fought the infection deep in the tooth. It took several attempts to clear the infection but he managed to save the tooth. I am so grateful and can't praise him enough, an amazing, caring professional.

Excellent treatment and service
I cannot recommend Byways Dental Practice highly enough! I have suffered from a ‘dentist phobia’ since a small child and it takes significant effort for me to attend a dental practice. Due to a dental emergency, I had to attend one and thanks to a recommendation from a friend and research on-line I contacted Byways. The very polite and professional staff arranged for me to be seen on the same day and I was most warmly welcomed. After explaining my situation I was made to feel at ease and after an examination, the very friendly and experienced staff explained what actions needed to be undertaken. In brief, I had a tooth and the remains of one extracted and I was astonished as to how quickly, efficiently and effectively it was completed. Utterly amazed and very thankful! Very caring, personable and professional people and I am so relieved that I found them.

Wonderful hygienist!
I had a hygienist appointment today.
All the staff are so friendly, non-judgemental, honest and just all-round marvellous! As a nervous patient I know they’ll be gentle, take their time and react to my cues as to when to take a break! I didn’t even need anesthetic injections this time!
