Kind, gentle and reassuring
Life sometimes gets in the way of taking good self care... and finally, I booked an overdue appointment with lovely Georgina on reception, for a check up and clean with the team at Byways. Great, thorough (and explanatory) inspection from Lauren advising that only one filling was required after a few years abstinence (phew!), then a follow on hygienist appointment with Maureen, who again went the extra distance to scale and polish, cleaning the in most minutiae of tricky places! I returned a few days later to complete treatment with Lauren, who is kind, gentle and reassuring! She answered all my questions and I felt totally at ease in her hands. Ready to smile again, I shall book my next appointment with Byways in the New Year, without any hesitation! Thanks Team!

Careful and considerate treatment
I was carefully checked at the door and then sat in the waiting room with my mask on. Waiting time was short.
Hygienist worked efficiently with care. Dentist check my teeth thoroughly and gave advice afterwards. Friendly and safe atmosphere throughout visit.

The staff at byways are very helpful & organised.
I have seen Amita on a few occasions now & I am very impressed with her knowledge & professionalism,she makes you feel at ease & relaxed.
I also see the hygienist & again very professional and knowledgeable,she again makes you feel at ease and relaxed.
The practice is very clean & tidy and would not hesitate to recommend this great team.

The team at Byways are wonderful. Having suffered an unfortunate bike accident, which led to several damaged teeth - including one that was completely broken - all of the team have provided a first rate service throughout my various visits of recent weeks. Staff on reception are super friendly and welcoming, whilst both Amita and Pav put you at ease immediately. Having a rather unique treatment plan, Amita and Pav take you through the various options available, before providing a first-rate service. However, perhaps most impressive of all is the aftercare service. Having had to endure a tooth extraction, Pav personally rang me a couple of days afterwards to see how I was doing which was a wonderful personal touch. Moreover, any further issues and the team are always super flexible to ensure they can see you as quickly as possible. Overall I've never experienced such a great service in dentistry!

Usually I hate the dentist however I visited Byways today and there whole team were outstanding from start to finnish I was fully informed on what was being done and provided with a full plan moving fowards for the treatment required. Thank you to the team there for making this usually tedious experience a pleasant one.

Dentist & Hygienist appointments
I had 2 appointments - the first was with Pavan with impressions for a replacement lower denture. Pavan revisited our prior discussion, clarifying details - explaining further appointments required to ensure a good fit before teeth were attached to the basic denture. Impressions were taken followed by advice that I'd be contacted with next appt. All as always given very clear explanation from an excellent communicator to a former dentalphobic patient!
My hygienist appointment with Vicky Lewis, was again painless and very thorough. It is so reassuring to have treatment from the same person, which provides continuity, and builds up confidence and reassurance, especially having had quite bad dental experiences in the past.

Absolutely wonderful with my children
I have always gone to Amita for my children as she is absolutely wonderful with them. My youngest (8) just had to have a filling. I watched her laying there on the chair while Amita did her thing. I noticed my daughter’s breathing, the little rise and fall of her chest and stomach, didn’t change in the slightest while the filling was being done.
That is how calm and relaxed Amita makes the children who attend there.
She is never pushy with her advice like you get from some dentists, I never feel like I’m being judged as a parent when we’re talking about snacks and whatnot.
She does amazing work and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Excellet service
I had an appointment with the hygienist and a regular checkup. The Covid procedures are thorough with pre-appointment questionnaire, temperature checks and hand sanitiser. The hygienist and dentist are excellent, and discuss any potential issues that may need to be addressed in the future.
