Byways Dental Practice

This is an excellent Practice for the nervous patient!

I highly recommend this Practice - as a 50's child undergoing some horrendous treatment I remain pretty fearful of the Dentist's chair. But Pavan, Amita, Raman and their Hygienists Vicky and Helen are highly skilled but for me, as importantly caring and calming. Their Administrative team also deserves an accolade never inflexible nor bureaucratic - friendly and efficient.

Normally a very good and welcoming practice, recently changed ownership and i feel the service is still of good quality, however the advice should be taken with a pinch of salt - I was offered some particularly expensive treatment with the pressuring phrases "i would not be concerned if you were 75 years old, but at the moment i am" and "you will just have the nubs of your teeth in 15 years". Obviously for a person with no past issues and keeps dental hygiene at a high standard, this was quite shocking. Follow up 2nd opinions concluded that there is no cause for concern.
