My experience
Was my NHS dentist, but as I began to sit down in the chair advised they were now private, and the checkup and hygiene appointment was going to cost £70.
As I was leaving they mentioned what I'll call, their unregulated 'Christmas Club' saving plan, which works out at £147.60 a year, (+ a £9.50 admin fee) for one annual checkup to include one hygiene clean.
A 10% discount maybe applied if you become a member of said 'Christmas Club' scheme. To be honest as the scheme is unregulated, I'll just put the money aside in my Savings Account instead.

Cheltenham House Dental Practice
I made my reservation for today's appointment many months ago. The discussion with Lakshmi was very good and she presented options. On seeing the scheduler for the next appointment to effect the treatment I was told there is no availability until November. I am willing to take the option presented of one 40-minute session to apply two fillings. I cannot wait three months - I spend many winter months abroad with my family and will not be available this year after mid-October. I ask you to review your scheduling decision and try to make 40 minutes available before mid-October.

I had the perfect service today. I was offered a cancellation appointment for NHS checkup and therapy. ( I've never heard of counselling for teeth but I guess even teeth can feel sad! ) 😂
The treatment was perfect. Dentist was friendly and gave good advice.
