My dentist is Ryan and I had a phone call last week to bring my appointment forward as he wanted to see his patients as he was leaving mine was a 6 month check up appointment.
My appointment was 12/04/24, I thought I was going to see my dentist as that was the point of bringing the appointment forward I was told I didn't see Ryan, a lady dentist, seemed to be I was in the chair for 2 minutes, she hardly looked at my teeth and didn't go over each tooth calling them out like Ryan does to his assistant, nothing! She asked me do I smoke! I said NO! She said have I ever smoked! I said no I haven’t. I’ve never done such a dirty habit, my teeth are a little stained but that’s from lots of sugar and not looking after them early on, but she did say I had a good set of teeth, she did more talking than looking at my teeth for 2 minutes if that! She didn’t have a look at my gums, prod them, neither did she have a thorough check of my teeth or look at any plaque. Sprayed a bit of air in my mouth and that was it, then I got charged £25. Which is a joke. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed with the check up, I know my dentist Ryan is leaving but he has always done thorough checks, looked at every tooth, been talking to his assistant and having a really good check that the whole point of the 6 month check up, this dentist I saw didn't even stand over my head and have a look in my mouth, just stood to the side. Think they were just after a quick £25 out of me and that was the only reason I was called to bring my appointment forward. Very disappointed, a let down.

The dentist that I met was a lovely lady, who gave me loads of confidence, that my tooth did not need to be extracted, needless to say I was delighted.

Nataile is excellent and very reassuring. When my former dentist retired I was very reluctant to have someone else but Natalie is helpful, understanding and always tells me what she's doing before she treats me and during treatment. Thank you.
