Firstly I would like to say that the care we received from your reception staff was brilliant, in appreciating the urgency of booking appointments and in general just being polite and super helpful, as they always are.

The attitude of the dentist we saw was in my opinion completely unsatisfactory. His aggressive manner towards my son was unacceptable and unhelpful. The nature of my sons injury is serious, we did not arrive at the surgery expecting a miracle treatment to fix the damaged tooth but we did expect a courteous and comprehensive delivery of information as to how we go forward. What happened to my son was an accident and if I had not of been present to intervene he would of only received what amounted to a derogatory lecture on his failure to seek treatment at the practice sooner. The accident took place in Portugal, we were fortunate to be given an appointment the day after he returned to England and 3 days after the accident took place.
The dentist continued throughout the appointment to berate us for not calling him directly and immediately, I am not sure at all how this would be even remotely possible, particularly as we have never met this man before.
We are booked to see a different dentist within the practice on Monday and I am sure he will be able to guide us positively through the treatment process.
