Very pleasant

My appointment was for 10.30 am but it was nearly 11.00 am by the time I went in. The lateness was not expected this early in the day. Apart from this, the visit was very good. Nemesia was very pleasant and attentive, ready to listen and raised her voice a little when she realised I couldn’t hear very well.

Calm and relaxing atmosphere

An amazing team

Alex is wonderful. Patient and thorough. Alex took his time to explain everything so I could understand. Amy his nurse is a really special person, she’s supportive and caring and you can tell what a professional relationship Amy and Alex have. I hated going to the dentist but not any more. Thank you for being an amazing team Chipping Manor!

Chipping Manor (Cirencester) Dental

The dentist I saw was really good and explained all my options clearly and thoroughly. Due to having Sjorgrens I need to use prescription toothpaste and should really see a dentist every 6 months but in the current climate the latter is proving difficult. The dentist gave me a prescription for 3 tubes of toothpaste which should I be having a checkup every 6 months would probably be enough but having to wait for 12 months this would not be enough. After getting a little upset I then spoke to the manager and explained that I find it very upsetting to have to fight for my prescription with the receptionists who have no idea how important it is that I look after my teeth, she was very sympathetic and reinstated my 6 monthly appointment and arranged for 4 tubes of toothpaste. It is such a relief when people understand that you are not trying to be difficult. Sjorgrens is a long term chronic illness that needs to be managed with care and is not the minor illness that many believe. Thank you to everyone at Chilling Manor for looking after me today.
