Today was the 1st time in 48years I have been to the dentist without feeling dread and shame. The new dentist is good at putting you at ease, and he made me feel like for the first time I could actually make a difference and cure myself from gum disease. Every other dentist has tried to make me feel there is nothing I could done by using fear to make me floss

My experience
I had a private denture about 2.5 years ago but it has cracked 4 times in the past 10 months so I have been using the NHS denture I had before which has been fine. But I recently lost a tooth but I was told I can’t have a “spare” even though I daren't eat with the private denture. I am not complaining about Marzena as it’s not her fault and is a lovely lady.

Saw a new dentist she gave me a filling on a tooth at the front that’s been tarnished for years and made it look a lot nicer, and if my partner has a good time with a new dentist that’s got to be a bonus, cause she’s terrified.
