Consultation with Mr Shaffrey
I was referred by my dentist for oral surgery with Mr Shaffery. As a nervous patient, I was opting for sedation. After my consultation I was sent to reception where she told me he had a gap and could do it today. Due to his reassurance I had it removed by local anaesthetic and he removed the tooth and roots in no time at all quite painlessly. I was pleasantly surprised by this. He then advised on aftercare of the mouth over the next 7 days. A very professional and friendly practise. Extremely impressed.

I had a routine appointment. The dental nurse was friendly and so was the dentist, the dentist explained what was going on and advised treatments that could be done etc. lets hope this dentist stays at the practice as there have been a lot of changes which is not very nice when you visit twice a year and see a new dentist every time.

Hole in the tooth
The dentist was short staffed talking with other patients. Lots of calls coming in. To me shows they are dealing with a lot of clients. The service is decent as an NHS patient. Listened to my concerns. Dealt with it on a semi-reactive basis, which will hopefully be sorted out on the next check up. Did have to wait 4 weeks for my appointment.

Poor
Satisfied patient.
I had 3 fillings, 2 on front teeth and 1 on an already frequently filled molar. My dentist carried out her work with great care and frequently checked that I was comfortable. Having also used her skill as a hygienist she informed me that in about 6months the molar would need capping. At reception, care was taken to ensure the date for my next treatment did not clash with my holiday plans. Out of 10 I give Dove 10 ! Thank you.

Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful, dental nurse was friendly and cheerful. Dentist was lovely, friendly, gentle and took the time to explain X-rays and how I should be cleaning.

Felt really safe
I've just had 3 front teeth removed today March 21st 2024 and had a partial denture fitted. My dentist and the dental nurse are exceptional. They are so kind and made me feel really safe. They are so professional and explain everything in detail. The receptionist are lovely too.

Confusing between dentist and orthodontist
Made an appointment for my daughter to have a filling but the dentist couldn't do the filling and we have got to wait till May 28 to have it sorted, its confusing to me why it wasn't done as my daughter is backwards and forwards to the orthodontist and the dentist and it was Dove who recommended to my 2 daughters to have braces nearly 5 years ago and having been on the waiting list for 4 years we are no further forward.
