My experience

I have no issues with the staff or the hygienist, however to be charged an extra £35 on top of a£73 bill just in case I cancel within 24hrs next time is very steep. Especially as that deposit is not taken off the next bill of £73. So it’s not really a deposit.

Courteous and efficient

As ever, the service was courteous and efficient at all stages. I arrived early during the lunch break and, as it was raining steadily, was pleased to find the door open. I approve absolutely of a proper lunch break as a part of the working day, and it is vital where work is demanding and precise, as in dentistry.

My experience

Rather puzzled and disappointed with the deposit having to be paid for the next appointment. I thought £112 for a hygienist appointment excessive and will be seriously considering if to proceed with this in future.

They kept me waiting 35 mins even though I had an emergency appointment. She was very rough and at one point I had to stop her. I was told by Melcombe Avenue practice that it would be £99, it turned out to be £120 just to get a prescription for Amoxicillin. Between the two practices they took me for £250 just to get Antibiotics. Disgraceful.
