I had my appointment as planned and scheduled, where my dentist spoke with me about my current and past medical history. She took the time to talk with me about what I wanted for the future and also answered my questions. I had my son there aged 6 with me, where both the dentist and dental nurse were patient and understanding of him being right by my side at one point.
They advised me to have two x-rays as required and explained the findings with me.
Overall I was satisfied with my appointment and have booked both a check up for six months as well as a hygienist appointment for a deep-clean next week.

To day all went very smoothly, timing quite a wait. Bart was very pleasant and efficient.

For the second time in a row, with a dental appointment at St John's Dental Practice Dorchester, the clinician I was scheduled to see did not turn up. It was a different clinician this time than the previous appointment they didn't make, but the same practice. This time it was the hygienist, last time the dentist herself. What really gnarls me about it is that if I did this to them they would charge me for not turning up. I said this to the receptionist and he said: "We make up the rules, if you don't like them you don't get to play."

Last time they didn't turn up they did at least try to contact me, but this time they did not even bother to do that. I know this for sure because they called me yesterday on the same phone number to confirm that the appointment today was definitely happening. So I know they have the correct phone number for me, and I was sat next to that same phone all morning, so they could have called me and they just didn't bother to do so.

Now I'm sure you think I'm making a fuss about nothing, but during the summer holidays I have to deal with working around childcare, what other family members are doing, all our various work commitments, and so on. The various knock on repercussions of which meant that this wasted most of my morning. I wouldn't have minded if I had got the treatment I needed but to go to that trouble and come away with nothing, not even a meaningful apology has upset me.

Seen promptly as an emergency appointment. Tooth fixed for a very reasonable rate. A very good service. Thank you.

Kinga is an excellent dentist.

Every time I attend I seem to have to wait forty minutes after my appointment time to be seen. The last two times both have apparently been for emergencies.
As I have to take time off as I'm on a zero hours contract I end up paying for at least an hour for my own time as well as paying for the private appointment. Not happy.
