Always really good
Bart is always really good. I’ve never found a dentist I was confident and relaxed around due to a few bad experiences. Bart has got me over my anxiety and fear of the dentist. I wish I had found him earlier and I might have more teeth left! He’s recently made me a perfect set of dentures. There were also a couple of people studying Bart’s work they were both really polite as well.

St John's Dental Practice
Kinga was nice as she always is. I had to wait a little while but she apologised.
Best thing for me is that I still have an NHS dentist!

The hygienist is amazing
Absolutely fantastic hygienist, explains everything really well and genuinely very good and gentle, was a dread going but this hygienist is amazing, please keep hold of her.

Calm, patient, and kind
My appointment had to be changed but the receptionist I spoke with on the phone - I think his name might have been Josh? - was so lovely, completely put me at ease, and it allowed me to feel calm about my appointment and the change. On top of that, the Dentist (Bart) was incredible as always. I used to think I was afraid of the dentist, but his calm, patient, and kind demeanour actually means I look forward to my appointments!

My experience
Having belonged to this dental practice for several years I have always described my experience as excellent but today I was hugely disappointed. The dental appointment went well but afterwards I was told that I could no longer be an NHS customer since my dentist, and only mine at the practice had decided to cease taking NHS patients, which is her independent right but I feel is unfair to those registered with her, since it's only my dentist that is at present doing this, according to the receptionists, although they tried to infer that other dentists will be following suit. Before I next see the dentist I must decide whether to embrace one of the dental practice's own membership schemes, varying from £126.00 per year to £431.76 per year, depending on which package I choose or whether I decide to go private instead. In this economic climate I think this decision is lacking in understanding for the position many of us find ourselves in and I am very upset. I doubt I am alone in feeling this.
