Susanna is an excellent dentist who takes the time to ease my dental worries.

The girls on reception are always professional, attentive and keen to make you feel at ease.

My experience at the practice was poor. To begin, I was seen well over ten minutes after my scheduled appointment (no warning from reception that things might be delayed). When I did see the dentist, everything seemed rushed and the staff were disinterested. Nothing was properly explained. Two x-rays were taken, for instance, but I have no idea if the dentist looked at them or even will look at them. I was told that I didn't have cavities, which is great, but there is a lot more to oral health than cavities. That was it—I waited to be seen longer than I was actually seen. I understand that dentists are very busy and that I was lucky in that I didn't seem to have anything seriously wrong. But it isn't a great sign when you see the dentist who just examined you walk quickly out of the practice, having had time to change out of their uniform, while you're still at reception waiting to pay (and I wasn't in a queue). I was then asked to pay about £100 more than what I was first told it would be, though this seems to have been a typo and was rectified. If only one of those things happened, I wouldn't be bothered. But together they make me question how invested the dentist was in my appointment and whether I might not be better off spending my money at a different practice, which I am now considering. Maybe it was an off day for the practice, but my recent experience there was not good.

However the actual service was excellent as always.
