My experience
Some Reception staff need to work on their customer service skills.
Due to wait times on appointments, I've had to see 3 separate dentists who all gave different recommendations for treatment required and on return visits again decided on different opinions.
Having been a patient for the last 40 years this surgery has gone down hill dramatically from what it used to be!
Unfortunately I will not be returning.

My experience
Receptionist was rude, barely looking at me and throwing forms on the desk for me to sign, and snatching a prescription off me after my appointment. I can't say much positive about the dentist either - he and his assistant were nice enough, but I told them that I was really anxious, but I don't think they understood. They did a cleaning which aggravated a tooth that's been giving me hell (which is why I booked in the first place) and they seemed annoyed that I was in pain. I'm due to have a filling in two weeks but I frankly don't want them to do it. I may look elsewhere. A very unpleasant experience for me, after five years of avoiding the dentist due to phobia.

I was seen very quickly and the examination seemed very thorough. The only negative was on the breakdown of the cost and as to why the usual 20.00 check up was now 27.

In response to your message, unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes to the check-up prices, as this are set by NHS. The prices were increased on then 1st of April this year as part of a nationwide update.

Wasn’t given any comments from dentist on the condition of my teeth after my check up, or any comments on how clean they were or if they looked like my brushing was cleaning ok. No comment on how long for next check up

The dentist was amazing
Was so pleased with my treatment, the dentist was amazing, I was scared and unsure to go through with it but he reassured me that everything would be okay. And it was.
