I had been experiencing a lot of pain due to my wisdom tooth growing into a molar next to it and there being quite extensive decay. There was an unpleasant taste and I can imagine my breath wasn’t great either! I was referred to the dental hospital by another dentist after an emergency appointment to have both the decayed molar and wisdom tooth growing into it extracted but was told it could be up to a year to get that done.

After calling a few places I was finally able to get registered with Chong Kwan dentists and they booked me in to see me within a day. Caroline, a very pleasant dentist, explained that although they normally let the dental hospital deal with advanced surgical extractions David “liked a challenge” and could potentially do it.

A week later David removed the tooth that was causing me issues without having to take out wisdom tooth as well. This all happened in less than an hour and I experienced professional and friendly service. The dental nurse was kind, efficient and reassuring. I would say this is the kind of dental practise that genuinely cares for their patients and treats them as individuals.

I am happy that I’m finally registered with a dentist like this and that I don’t need to have a year of pain, complications not to mention bad breath.

Amazing! A few days ago I knocked a "filling" off a tooth. Being up in town for other purposes this morning, I popped in to the dentist's to arrange a non-urgent appointment to have it repaired as I did not want to leave the tooth broken until my next booked examination on 2 May. At 10:30 I was offered an appointment at 11 o'clock. Before midday I was walking away to catch a bus home, complete with a newly repaired tooth. If only all other health appointments could be offered at such short notice. Well done, Chong Kwan.

Very large filling replaced by Ramona yesterday - she did a great job and took care of me. Should have looked after my teeth better when I was younger!

Was fitted for a temporary plate and the root canal treatment was very professional and gentle.

I had a chat with Sophie regarding my appointment with the ENT doctor. Just what was discussed and what comes next, a CT scan : Sinuses. Then I will have a better Idea of what, if anything, is coming next.
