Dentistry @ No. 3

I recently had my second appointment with hygienist Jenna Reynolds. She is exceptionally professional and simultaneously very friendly. Jenna offers detailed and helpful advice that is easy to understand and implement. I wholeheartedly recommend Black & Brown Dental in Dunfermline.

my experience was positive and pain free and i recommend dentistry no3. I will be getting more treatment. There aftercare is very good too.

I’ve been ok with dentists and needles but there is something about getting work done that I get really anxious about. I had a filling on the NHS which chipped after 2 weeks. I saw Fraser for an appointment on the Monday who took the time to talk me through all my options and show me what was going on. 3 days later and I’m being seen (after I finished work for the day) by the excellent Natalie for a clean and to have it repaired (compared to the 2 months from identifying I needed the filling to having it done on the NHS). I was very nervous about the repair but she has a lovely calm demeanour which puts you at ease. She took her time, and it never felt like she was stressed or rushed, and she was happy to answer my questions after about taking care of her handiwork and how long the repair will last. She took her time with the anaesthetic and I felt far more numb (and so I was confident I was numb) than on the NHS. Even her assistant checked in if I was ok. The drill was also so much quieter than what I’d been used to on the NHS, and I didn’t realise how much that sound had put me on edge.

I love the NHS so wasn’t sure about going private, but the whole experience felt so different. I usually come away from a filling feeling tense and ashamed. I realised I’d started to relax before Natalie had finished her work, and I left feeling that next time I need work done I don’t need to spend the afternoon worrying about it.

Today I got my implants fitted to say it was a journey is an understatement (extractions, bone and gum grafts). I was petrified of the dentist…I would shake to the point it felt like I was having a fit in the chair and I would sob!! Today there was no sobs or shaking and that was down to Ali. Him and the team have been so kind and patient with me, they have never made me feel judged or stupid. Have reassured me all the way! I would honestly never have gotten this far without them. And I am truly so grateful I can now smile with confidence and unfortunately for them they are stuck with me because I can honestly say I will never be able to go to any other dentist!!
10/10 and all the stars….thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️

Dentistry @No 3,are amazing from the first minute I walked in the door it was a completely different experience, I met Leigh and she was so down to earth it made me feel totally at ease, then even before I met the amazing Ali there were more lovely receptionists ,nurses and hygienists..
Ali made my whole experience totally pain free,I'd lost my faith in other dentists that's why I was so scared. I've never liked my teeth but now I can smile again, I would 100 percent recommend Dentistry @No 3 to anyone and have been telling everyone about them..

I am delighted with the results of my new full upper arch implants done by Ali. From start to finish, the care was exceptional and genuinely pain free. The procedure was done carefully, at a pace I was comfortable with and offering reassurance throughout the procedure. Leigh waa always on hand to contact in between appointments before and after the surgery to offer reassurance or respond to my questions. My new teeth feel natural and look amazing. Thank you to the whole team.

The Dentist's and staff at this practice are very helpful they explaine everything and if you need then to stop whatever they are doing when you need them to they donsonwithout hesitation , due to other dental practices in the past I was very nervous about seeing a dentist but they put me at ease

I recently visited my dentist Rebecca, and had a really positive experience from start to finish. The team were welcoming and friendly which immediately put me at ease.
Rebecca took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure i understood the treatment before she went ahead.
I am delighted with the results, Rebecca has completely transformed my smile by fitting four porcelain veneers to my upper four front teeth. The difference is incredible, and i feel much more confident.
Overall i am very happy with the treatment i received and i would highly recommend Rebecca and her team to anyone looking for a reliable and reasurring dentist.

I recently had an extraction and dental implant. The treatment I've had could not have been better. I thought "pain-free dentistry" was an aspiration but I now realise it's a reality at this practice. At every stage my treatment was carefully explained and I felt cared for as an individual. The staff are all lovely and very professional and I'm delighted with the end result. I would highly recommend this practice.

I cannot recommend Dentistry at No 3 highly enough!!

Over the past year I’ve had extensive treatment carried out by Ali and the team. The entire experience has been outstanding—from my first consultation with Leigh through to my final fitting with Ali.

I was quite apprehensive about having the work done initially, but Ali immediately put me completely at ease. At every appointment he took the time to explain each step of the procedures clearly and always made sure I was completely comfortable before proceeding.

At times during my treatment, Ali truly went above and beyond. He even took the time to contact me personally during an emergency and did everything he could to help and support me when I wasn’t able to make it into the surgery.

Ali’s skill, precision, and attention to detail are second to none. My results have been fantastic and have made a huge difference not only to my smile but also to my confidence.

I’m incredibly grateful to Ali and the whole team at Dentistry at No 3 and would highly recommend them to anyone considering dental treatment.

My mum visited here after it was recommended to her, following a really awful experience at her previous dentist. She was nervous about going private at first, but once she had her appointment she couldn’t stop raving about it.
she was reassured constantly by her dentist, always being asked if she was happy and nothing was too much.
she was told she could come back at any point if something wasn’t right.
Now, she’s over the moon with the results, she feels like her self again and we feel like we have our mum back.
she smiles with so much confidence after being left in such a terrible state from the last place.

I’ve had a very positive experience here. The staff are always friendly and communicative, and they take the time to explain the steps of every procedure so you always know what is happening. Dr. Fraser is very professional, and I’m really glad to have him as my dentist because I can just relax and let him do his work.

I’ve had more than ten visits already and have left every single time with no pain at all. Sometimes I even find myself wondering if they actually did anything or just had a quick look because everything feels so smooth and comfortable.

I really appreciate the level of confidence and professionalism here, and I feel I can completely trust that anything that needs to be done will be handled properly. Highly recommended.
