A great team
The receptionist Louise is very welcoming, polite and efficient, always with a smile. Emma Lang the hygienist is very thorough, understanding and excellent at cleaning my teeth. Clare the dentist puts me at ease and explains procedures thoroughly. The dental assistants are always polite and helpful. A great team all round. Thank you to everyone.

I’ve used this practice for several years, for both hygienist and dentist appointments.
I’ve always found the treatment to be well explained beforehand, with different options offered if available. Any dental work is carried out to a high standard and in a professional manner. The administration is good. And, to me, the prices seem reasonable.

Extraction
I would recommend VIDA and James for the attention they give to their patients. The staff are very polite and helpful throughout your visit.
There was no pain after the extraction and the staff even gave a call to see if everything was ok.

Hygienist - 3 monthly visit
I have been under the care of the VIDA hygienist - Sue - for many years. Her good work has helped extend the life of my remaining teeth supplementing the efforts of James and all the previous dentists.
In addition to the removal of plaque she has always offered additional advice and encouragement for me to practice at home. I believe she is retiring, I will be sad not to be seeing her again. In my opinion she has been an asset to the VIDA Practice.

Dental check up
I was seen on time and Claire was her usual friendly, welcoming self. She went over the condition of my mouth and teeth and the fact that as I have been following her advice for some years my dental hygiene is working and my mouth is healthy.
I am 78 so that is good to know. She mentioned some upcoming jobs that I know about and we both agreed they could wait until a later date. Altogether a good experience.
I know good mouth health means good heart health and both my sister and brother took little notice of this and they have both passed away with heart problems.

I am awaiting substantial Work on my top teeth and have two temporary crowns one of which came off.
Receptionist managed to fit me in same afternoon to have it stuck back which wasn’t successful but Dentist James stayed late to make a new temporary tooth which looks great so I didn’t have a missing front tooth for the weekend.

I used to be a very nervous patient but I have found the staff at Vida very reassuring. I have had various treatments over the years, some uncomfortable, but have never had any pain. The procedures have always been explained to me in a very clear way so I know what to expect.
