My experience
Normally very good but receptionists always very busy with other tasks and this time we were waiting 15 minutes past appointment time. Had to ask in reception how much longer we'd have to wait before we got shown through. Maybe they could be more aware of people waiting as if we were late going in then others would be too.

My experience
No issue with the dental examination, however this isn’t the first time they have been late in seeing me. A delay of 15 minutes. Once, they saw me around 25 minutes after my appointment time. I know a delay of 15 minutes is not a super serious issue. However, you are expected to arrive at the surgery around 5 minutes before your appointment. It would be nice if the dentists could observe the same courtesy by seeing the patient not later than 10 minutes after the allotted appointment time.

There seems to be a high turnover of dentists, none of them seem to be able to carry out root canal work which should be available on the NHS. This was my first appointment with a new dentist for an extraction and it was a horrendous experience!!

My experience
The issue is a lack of information or understanding about the treatment. We expected false teeth to be fitted today. But instead it was an impression with another 2 weeks to wait for the teeth. A clear treatment plan up front would have been very helpful. Very little information forthcoming at reception.
