Kind and thorough
Today was my six monthly check up - prior to today I was reminded of appointment which is helpful. My appointment was on time and Paulina was kind and thorough examining my teeth. The reception staff were polite and helpful.

Receptionist on arrival always welcoming ..
Had a different dentist that i wasnt prepared for. I was called in to see him first as peter hygenist was running late ..who i normally see first.. I was in with the room all off 5 mins with a dentist ive never seen before..
Peter as always was fabulous does a great job .. very careing, gentle.
Ive always been nerveous at the dentist but he makes me feel at ease .

I would 100% recommend Ferndown Dental practice. I recently had a lot of work done and dentist Ali, dental nurse Kiani, and the whole team could not have been more reassuring, professional and efficient. I am very happy with the expert work I had. Emergency appointment
I was on holiday and booked this emergency appointment for the nearest dentist to where I was staying, & I’m so glad I did, I made to feel at ease from the first moment and the dentist was fantastic, as a very nervous patient I felt very calm and was able to relax totally. Thoroughly recommend.

My experience
It was my first visit to the hygienist. Stains were removed, but not completely. Especially from the front teeth, and on the inner side. Perhaps if my head was turned to the side/s, it would help to see the stains.

Hygiene visits are primarily focused on maintaining gum health by removing plaque and tartar, which are important in preventing gum disease. While some stain removal is often achieved during these appointments, it’s not always possible to remove all staining with scaling and polishing alone.
For patients specifically looking for cosmetic stain removal, especially for more stubborn stains on the front and inner surfaces, we recommend booking in for an Airflow treatment. This is a gentle but highly effective jet-clean system that targets stains more thoroughly.
