I hate going to the dentist. In fact I hate the experience so much I've not been for at least 10 years, probably more like 15 years. However, in mid-March my left ear started ringing constantly (tinnitus) and has never stopped. One of the causes can be bad teeth and/or gums so I thought I better get them checked out. Turns out I had one broken tooth and required an old filling replaced with a nice new white composite filling.

When could they do this work? Next month, nope the very next day. No long period of worrying about another visit to the dentist. In the past I've never been brave enough to have an injection into my gum. Just the thought of the pain of a needle going into my gum filled with nerves put me off the idea. I've therefore always had dental work performed without any local anaesthetic, which is probably why I've always had a terrible experience.

This time I manned up and had the injections. I was shocked that this didn't hurt and I felt no pain during the entire procedure. I did have a couple of moments of sensation like when you eat ice cream and have sensitive teeth but this only happened a couple of times and only lasted a second or so during the drill process.

I therefore highly recommend this dentist. My friend recommended me and she had plenty of work done and also suffered no pain.

Unfortunately the tinnitus returned after the local anaesthetic wore off.
