Going to the dentist is not usually something one looks forward to. Ancells Farm Dental Clinic is different. The reception team are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they respond quickly when you have a question between appointments.

Dr Jay Tanna carried out complex root canal retreatment for me. He works under a microscope with proper isolation, explains what he is doing as he goes, and showed me photographs of the tooth at each stage so I could see exactly what was happening. The estimates were clear and given upfront, with no surprises.

I have no hesitation recommending them.

What an experience
It was like a spar day at the dentist
I was made so welcome from the reception one of them places that actually talk to there patients and get to know them with general chit chat. Honestly it was like having a little coffee morning with the girls. I did meet another person in the waiting room that was a lovely woman and we chatted for over ten minutes
The I had to go get the dreaded news being a dentist dodger for over 6 years.
So I met Ben I think and ruby. Great team work guys. Yet again I felt like I was just chatting to friends. I only went for a consultation but honestly I felt I was getting the best spar treatment on earth. It was actually a really good experience the teeth photo shoot was like I was at a wedding the dentist made me laugh ruby was lovely while the dentist was looking at my ex rays extra. The we had a chat about the dreaded price. As that what it all comes down to at the end of the day.
So everything was explained to me in detail
I had a plan of procedure
I had a plan for the future
I had confidence in my treatment going forward
And to be honest I got a good price I feel for the work that I’m going to have done by a proper dentist right on my doorstep.
Last thought
I’m very confident in three weeks I’ll have my smile back again.

I honestly cannot recommend Ken and Ruby highly enough.

As an extremely nervous dental patient, I hadn’t been to the dentist since just before lockdown. My anxiety had become so overwhelming that I even emailed the practice beforehand to explain how frightened I was. To my surprise and relief, the receptionist called me personally and spoke to me with such kindness and reassurance that I already felt calmer before I walked through the door.

From the moment I met Ken and Ruby, I knew I was in safe hands. They were warm, patient, compassionate and completely non-judgemental. Ken took the time to really listen to my worries and concerns, never rushing me or making me feel embarrassed. Ruby was equally wonderful, offering constant reassurance and making me feel comfortable throughout every appointment.

I’ve had crowns on my front teeth since I was 18 due to a childhood dental problem, and over the years I became increasingly self-conscious about my smile. I found myself smiling with my mouth closed and avoiding looking at my teeth in the mirror because I felt so unhappy with them.

Today, that has completely changed.

Ken has created the most beautiful, natural-looking smile for me. I am absolutely thrilled with the result and, for the first time in years, I genuinely want to smile with confidence again. The treatment has given me so much more than new teeth – it has given me back a part of myself that I thought I’d lost.

Thank you, Ken and Ruby, not only for your incredible skill and professionalism, but for your kindness, patience and understanding. I will be forever grateful.
