This is a very welcoming practice with very pleasant staff, right from the reception staff through to Shaz himself. I always feel very comfortable in my appointments. He explains everything clearly, answers questions and doesn't ever appear to be clock watching.
My dental appointments are never an ordeal.

Talked me through everything
My review is about Laura the hygienist at Dental Works who I cannot praise highly enough. I have not had great experiences with hygienists in the past but Laura has talked me through everything, explained what she is doing and the longer term plan, however my main praise is around my son who is autistic and hates going to the dentist. Laura set up the room so it was dimmer for him, didn't lower the chair all the way, let him hold and touch all the instruments before using them and then started small (5 secs then stop) so he was not over whelmed, he now looks forward to visiting Laura, and as a mum I can't explain how much of a relief this is, she also created a personalised certificate for him for all his good work - thank you so much

I honestly can’t recommend this dental practice in Milton Keynes highly enough. I’ve been a patient of Shaz for over 20 years, and even after moving to Dorset, I’ve never once considered changing dentists—that alone should say a lot.
Making the trip isn’t exactly convenient, but it’s absolutely worth it every single time. Shaz is incredibly professional, thorough, and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, puts you at ease, and consistently delivers excellent results. I’ve always felt I’m in safe hands.
The level of care, attention to detail, and trust I’ve built over the years is something you just don’t find easily. If you’re looking for a dentist who goes above and beyond, this is the place. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

It probably sounds a bit strange but this is one dentist that I like seeing. She makes me feel comfortable, asks how I’m doing and keeps me informed all the way through the appointment. The hygienist is the same. Glad I found this dentist and will keep going as long as they have me!
