Having spent years wearing down my teeth through nightly grinding, I was very happy when it was suggested that I try a new custom-fit mouthguard. Although I was initially hesitant about it due to the cost, I can safely say it’s the best thing I have done. My bite was slightly off, which caused me some pain in my jaw over the years and some pain in my ear. Having undertaken the work and the numerous visits to have the guard slightly finessed, I now sleep better, my bite is where it should be and the pain I once suffered has gone. Having also suffered anxiety throughout my life, I also find the guard very useful during the day, if I feel anxious at all and am clenching my teeth. I can’t recommend this treatment enough and even at my age, it has changed my life considerably.
