Service is usually very good but was a bit disappointed to come in this morning for nothing, even though I explained that I would need a longer appointment for a crown on the phone.

Unfortunately, it was negative things that stood out for us. My husband and I had consecutive appointments at 8:30 and 8:50 am. The dentist was late and had not even arrived there by 8.35 (overheard the receptionist saying there was no dentist in yet). Poor start to the day when they are not in prior to their first appointment. When the dentist was finally ready just before 8.45am, there was no apology. My husband had used the toilet whilst waiting and it was unclean and no toilet roll. The dentist’s room was not particularly clean with bits on the floor and red splats ( blood ?) on cupboard doors. Our appointment took less than 10 mins ( in total for us both) and it cost over £50. I know the pricing is out of their hands and it’s just fortunate that we still qualify for NHS patient prices, but that seems a very unjust price for a dental examination lasting just minutes. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were NHS patients I would change dental practices but obviously we are stuck there as would not get in as an NHS patient anywhere else with the current state of affairs.
