I went to Skircoat Green Dental several weeks ago with toothache in my rear tooth after a temporary filling was administered abroad, so had a wisdom tooth pulled, and my temporary filling replaced with a more permanent setting.
To my surprise, I was given the option of not taking the more expensive crown, but Reem who worked on my teeth suggested she could mould a filling instead, Reem had me completely at ease with her suggestion, so I went with it, which turned out to be a huge success.
I´ve never had such a pleasant time going to the dentist, and for a rear filling, that´s really saying something.

No more pain
Had a broken wisdom tooth plus a lost crown which both occurred during the pandemic. Luckily I was able to secure an appointment with the Practice and was treated very professionally from the start. The problems were diagnosed and fixed (painlessly) within a short space of time and I left with a useful post-extraction leaflet pack. It was reassuring to be kept informed about what was being done and available options. I would recommend this Practice.

Astonishing expertise, which helped me avoid antibiotics (to many of which I have adverse reactions).
I had a dental abscess and needed an immediate response. The response was immediate but unexpected - my gum was numbed, the abscess drained and the cavity cleaned. The relief has held good.
Should also say it was pain free and, after a lot of treatment over the years, I am highly sensitive.
Surprised and delighted by the assitance received, from Tobias and the team - Jess in particular.

I opted for a back tooth extraction rather than a crown following the break of a long standing filling.
The pros and cons of each option were explained to me. Staff are very friendly. My dentist was chatty and gave me lots of advice about care of my teeth but without being “preachy”.

Awesome outcome - can’t stop smiling!
My teeth are normally an ongoing problem. I originally made an appointment for a filling repair but decided to bite the bullet (as it were!) and discuss my ongoing embarrassment caused by my deteriorating front teeth. I agreed with Reem that we would go for a full repair on my two front teeth which have become badly worn down over time. They had reached the stage where I was covering my mouth when talking to people and had practically stopped smiling. What an outcome! Three days after my last visit and I just can’t stop smiling at people now! Just such an incredible improvement - I can’t believe the difference between ‘before’ and ‘after’! Reem was throughout kind and sympathetic and made the experience as painless as possible. I just can’t believe the improvement and as far as I am concerned the cost pales into insignificance when I look at the result. So pleased!

Renewal of two fillings
I was amazed about the amount of time and trouble that the dentist went to when replacing two of my fillings. He spent a lot of time building up the filling and getting the right colour match. No injection and no pain.
