I have just changed my Dental Practice from Ilkley to Skircoat Green. From the first time I spoke to the very cheery and polite Receptionist, I felt at ease, and was given an appointment the following day. On arriving at the practice I was welcomed by the two lovely Receptionist's, who dealt with all the necessary paperwork. I went with Rachel the Dental Nurse, and met Reem the Dentist, who welcomed me and went through a thorough process of my dental history, followed by my medical history and medication.
In 2008 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis & Pulmonary Sarcoidosis, which are both Auto-immune Disorders, very soon after finding out, I completely lost my mobility, I couldn't even get up from my chair, and was put on Humira a Biological Medication, which gave me my life back. As soon as I told Reem about this, she new instantly about the danger of this drug and it's possible complications, when carrying out intense dental work or extractions. I have been with 3 other practices in the last 14 years and had extractions recently, and never being made aware by any other Dentist of the possible danger of getting Osteonecrosis of the Jaw, which is a Life Changing Disease, where the Jaw Bones are attacked and die off, I definitely don't need that!! Reem then set me out a plan for my immediate and future dental care, which didn't involve fleecing me for any unnecessary cosmetic work, which this again really impressed me.
All in all, it was a Fantastic Experience, and look forward to a long association with this very caring practice.

I feel in good hands and it is everything to be able to be in a dentist chair and feel relaxed. Also, dentist Neill is very assuring, gentle, kind and meticulous with his work. Very grateful.

When I came to see Neil I was very worried about all my teeth. He spent tme examining them, explained the xray results and told me what needed doing, which was very little. But I left with peace of mind. Thank you

I had my second appointment for my bridge fitted. I am really pleased with my treatment and also with the new bridge I have now.

I have visited the practice on several occasions now. Each and every time I have been extremely pleased with the results.

A long time in the chair which I suppose is necessary but everything is good so far.

It is quite a challenge getting Mum to appointments in her wheelchair but the staff were super helpful and Neil is so professional, patient and kind.

Replaced an extra filling that had fallen out recently as well as the filling we went for, which means that we don't need to go back.
