This was my first time of visiting this practice for me. I was dealt with promptly at reception and didn’t have long to wait to be seen. I was only expecting a health check/inspection as new patient, however a small filling was carried out at same time.
My future needs were discussed, a plan was made then followed up with an appointment for future treatment.
I departed very satisfied with the whole experience.

Hygienist

Seen 5 mins early and the hygienist gave me a very cheery hello whilst introducing herself by first name. Explained what she intended to and undertook the treatment in a very caring and professional manner. An excellent professional who is a good ambassador for your surgery.

Preparation for a New Bridge

This took quite a while but I was told that it would. I hadn’t expected 3 or maybe 4 numbing injections in my bottom jaw, but soon found out why. 4 bottom incisor teeth were being ground a bit to accommodate a bridge in about 3 weeks time. I felt in skilled hands and was actually able to relax a bit !

I was pleasantly surprised to see at the end that 4 crowns had been temporarily fitted to the prepared teeth as I had thought that I may have to walk about with pointed teeth.

Appointment was on time, and check up was very quick, dentist is pleasant, but I can’t believe I have to pay so much for about a 3 minute consultation. Would also like a chair in the room to sit on whilst my children had their appointments.

Numbing, injection expertly carried out. Bit sore rest of the day but seem to be fine now. Hope the tooth has been saved but must wait and see.

I am always impressed

I am always impressed by the whole practice. They are very friendly and treat each client with the utmost respect. The hygienist and nurse talk to you respectfully, politely and clearly explain everything. I was really struck that each time the hygienist asked me to do something like turn my head, she thanked me. Such respect and valuing of clients is not something you always encounter at other practices as an NHS client. Huge thanks to the whole team especially at a time of such huge workload.
