I didn’t have my usual hygienist as she is currently away on maternity leave, but the hygienist I saw today was brilliant. I explained some sensitivity with a few of my teeth when it comes to them cleaning them and when I showed signs of discomfort, she had stopped and didn’t over do it in that area. I thought the whole appointment was fantastic from start to finish and the hygienist was really gentle with cleaning my teeth.

Emergency appointment
I contacted the surgery by email to request an emergency appointment this morning, I got a reply within 10 minutes with an appointment slot for 3 o’clock. I was impressed!!
The reception team were very efficient when they booked me in and I saw the desbtist on time! The dentist dealt with my problem with care and listened to my concern and gave me the option to take xray for reassurance. This amazing service .. thank you team!

The dentist I met was very friendly and put me at ease.
I have to make a point in saying when my last appointment was made I was 10 mins late due to traffic in Havant and was told patients can only be 5 mins late so I didn’t get to see the dentist. However today I had to wait 10 mins after my slotted time before I got in - why is there one rule for turning up late and not being seen and another for being kept waiting? I could understand if I was 20 mins late but really 10 mins because of traffic jam in Havant is really unfair and as you can appreciate I was not impressed as I come from Hedge End!

I was very anxious attending this appointment as I had a bad experience a few years ago. The hygienist was really nice and put me at ease straight away. She talked me through everything she was going to do which really helped ease my nerves. I will not be afraid to return for my next visit when necessary, if this is the service I receive. Antibiotics for aching tooth
When my tooth first started aching last October I made an appointment to see Dr. Chun in November. He gave me a thorough examination and recommended an appointment with the hygienist which is due shortly.
Six days ago my tooth started throbbing painfully and Dr.Chun agreed to see me within an hour of my phone call to the surgery.
He gave me another thorough examination and prescribed antibiotics for the five days prior to my appointment with Dr.Hunty.
I cannot thank him enough for the way he has looked after me.
