On Tuesday 31st October I had an appontment with Hyo Jae Chun. It should have been to continue the treatment I had been having with Simon. Because of the length of time between appointments (over 3 months waiting) I was told it had to be a check-up.
Having explained the situation to the new dentist and telling him I was in significant pain and had been for over a week, he informed me that he was going to refer me for an extraction. Simon was going to carry out the extraction but because I was going on holiday he said he would do it when I returned.
Clearly the new dentist was not happy to carry out the work and referred me.
He gave me a prescription for 5 days antibiotics which worked but the pain came back after I had finished the 5 day course. I went in today to get another prescription, I had explained that in the past I had always been prescribed a 7 day course. When I went in today I informed him that I was going in to see the referral people in Fareham for a consultation/extraction, I was unsure which. I had been contacted by them and was given an appointment for 13th March '24. Yesterday I was called and asked if I could come in this morning which I did when I left Parkway.
When I got there I discovered the appointment was for an extraction(s) 6 & 7 upper left.
I mentioned the piece of tooth protruding from the gum upper left 5 and that was also removed. Simon took two pieces out of this gum previously. The tooth was extracted by 'Tudor' some months ago.
Please would you make sure my records reflect what has taken place.
Just to add, Hyo Jae Chun said that should I still be suffering pain after the extraction(s) to come in.

My visit today was great, always on time and the new receptionists are a breath of fresh air. They were so helpful and friendly, the last receptionists were miserable and I always felt like a burden to them just booking an appointment. The surgery has a different atmosphere now because of this change. Tudor my dentist is great, so helpful, and does a thorough job on my and my children's dental needs.

I wanted to set up a dental plan, and this was done very efficiently by the receptionist, who also explained everything. The waiting area was clean and bright. My check up carried out professionally.

I had my second hygienist appointment today and although I was very nervous ( have a dentist phobia ) Carly put me at ease yet again. So glad I went.

The staff are also really helpful, they answered all my questions regarding the denstist plan and set it up for me very quickly with no issues.

No issues with time spent at the practice for my check up, the dentist was thorough and polite. The lady on reception was very helpful with my requesting an invoice.
