This was a routine check up; however, I was in and out in a few minutes. I found it strange that the dentist did not use a probe to check each tooth to see if a filling is required. In the past this was always fairly standard practice. Has this changed?

I have an inherent fear of dentists due to bad experiences and them never being able to numb my teeth, I saw Adrian Frick and he was absolutely amazing, took his time explained why previously the numbing process hadn’t worked, turns out my nerves are at a slightly different height of all things.
He for the first time ever numbed my teeth, had to have a few fillings as hadn’t been for a few years due to my fear but no more.
The experience was as good as any trip to the dentist could be he’s a credit to the profession.
The reception staff and his assistant were friendly and amiable.
