Parkway Dentalcare
During the height of the Pandemic, I had a hygienist session and during this session, they could not use the water jet. I then had my follow up this October and was told that due to the fact that they could not use the water jet I would have to go back in 6 weeks time (today 2nd Dec) as they suspected gum disease.
I have now had to pay £130 within 6 weeks because the previous treatment that I had paid £65 for was not done properly e.g. no water jet.
I am very disappointed that not using the water jet has cost me a further £65.
The actual hygienist session with the water jet is very good. My issue is the cost that I have had to incur due to the Pandemic visit not being done properly.

Crown problem
I have a gap in a new crown that cost me £270. I constantly get food trapped and it hurts. The old crown was not like this. Seems there is no solution and I have to put up with it! Accept this but unhappy not value for money.

I came in for my first check up with the dental surgery.
I came in early and spoke to the receptionist. I then sat down and waited to be called in. I was a bit nervous, as I am a bit phobic, and I explained a bit about my self. I did find that the atmosphere could of been a been more approachable, more patient friendly, as to me it seemed like I was in an operating theatre, and I think it could have been a bit more relaxed. The dentist was okay, but I think the session could had been a bit more friendly and not that formal, as you could cut the air with a knife, as the saying goes. I had the options that was going for me, and I'm glad that I'm only having one filling. I was glad to leave the room, as it might of just been me, as I did relax as I spoke the the receptionist again. I wasn`t quite sure if the dentist was actually listening to me what I was saying about My past treatment. But it went pretty well. I like to talk, but I felt it wasn`t a good time.

Excellent Service
I’ve been a patient at Parkway Dental Practice for 24 years and Mr Cottrell is like an old friend. He’s cared for my husband, son and father too and I dread the day he retires.
He repaired two old fillings today. I got in on time and was entirely confident that he would do exactly what was needed; he explained everything he was doing too. I felt no discomfort and was back to normal within a couple of hours. Ten out of ten.
