Absolutely first class service and in keeping with the current COVID-19 status the service was exemplary and first class. The service of arriving and then the dental nurse came and got us, took our temperature and gave us sanatizing of our hands was great and it was in keeping with the rules of social distancing.

Removal of two teeth
I had two teeth removed on Tuesday. I was really pleased with the whole dentist practice and the managing of protecting me and staff from Covid. I am pleased that the reception has a Perspex barrier between myself and staff. This was not in place last time I visited so it certainly gave me confidence this time. Dentist Lloyd and dental nurse were both very patient and understanding with me being very nervous. I had been given Emla cream prior to injections, but still found the needle really hurt. This did not happen when I last had a tooth removed. So I don't know if the cream did not have the time to work, even though I could not feel anything. The area was numb but I found once the needle was inserted it caused pain. Otherwise I cannot fault anything else. Thank you. I also had an unplanned a check up after treatment, when I said I had one booked for this month. I really appreciated that and that it gave another patient the opportunity to take my future appointment.

Routine Check-up During COVID-19
The Practice is VERY well organised to continue working during this otherwise lockdown period. On arrival you notify them by phone you are there and you wait in your car. The phone number is in your appointment invitation, but also posted in large print outside the Practice. While I was waiting in the car I saw a member of the reception team wiping down the handle on the front door, the glass surround to the door and the hand rail on the sloped entrance. Your dental nurse meets you at the car, checks your temperature and gives you hand sanitiser and you follow her through opened doorways to the dentist's chair, not having touched anything. All paperwork is carried out on-line from home. I paid by contactless card at reception protected by a substantial Perspex screen with only a letterbox opening. They are operating a one-way system through the Practice so you don't meet people head on and you get a squirt of hand sanitiser on the way out.
As always, everyone was very sociable and in good spirits.
