A thorough and gentle treatment

New Hygienist and assistant, so welcoming and made me feel at ease, more than just 'an appointment' more a friendly chat, some laughs and a thorough and gentle treatment, my mouth is singing in delight, dont let them go!

NHS Patient Entitlement

I understand that the NHS patient check-up fee should include X-rays (annually?) and a scale & polish if needed. I haven’t had xrays in 3 years & have never been offered a S&P - instead I’m told I need to see the hygienist at a private rate.
Although there is a small list of what your fees should include behind reception it isn’t prominent, so patients aren’t aware of what they’re entitled to. I think this should be made more obvious to patients to save them from feeling somewhat misled. Other than that treatment etc is very good!

Re-fit a bridge following a minor accident

Mr Cottrell was very helpful, re-fitted the bridge but noted there was some damage to the link and may need to be replaced in the future

Very reassuring and met my needs

The dentist I saw was very reassuring, he described what was found on the X-ray. Prescribed more antibiotics which I had asked for on my previous visit having had a similar problem with required 2 antibiotics to cover all kinds of infection.
