This was a re-arranged appointment as I missed my previous appointment being held up in traffic. I was 10 minutes late but was told the dentist had already gone - Tuesday 12/11/19 at 18:40. Today I was called in for my appointment 15 minutes after the appointment time. This is what I would normally expect as I fully appreciate times overrun as treating a patient cannot be an exact science on times. However, I was surprised that for my first appointment on 12/11, my arrival at 18.50 meant I was too late for an appointment, especially when the surgery is advertised to be open until 19.30. Clearly I was running late for the first appointment which was my responsibility, but given that there is normal delay of up to 20 minutes when I usually visit, I was surprised to be turned away.
However, the check-up I received today (06.12) was very good.

I felt very comfortable, reassured and in safe hands. Mike the dentist kept me informed at every stage of the treatment, which I found helped, especially as going to the dentist for me is quite daunting!

Tooth extraction in prep for bridge
Mike as ever was fantastic. It was frustrating however that the cement needed to complete my treatment was not available and consequently I have to take another period away from work to get the actual bridge fitting complete. I did get a call to make the additional appointment necessary to fit the bridge tomorrow later in the day
