Efficient hygienist

Robyn the hygienist must be congratulated on her efficiency and expertise. She gave my teeth a really good clean up, with a minimum of fuss and it only took about 20 minutes. I'm 77 now and my teeth require gentle and careful treatment and she provides it with reassurance in plenty.

All the staff are lovely, my dentist - Dr Cottrell & his dental nurse are brilliant. So friendly and calming, they always remember you.

Came to see the dentist some months back to report that I was seeing blood in my mouth when I wake up and during brushing. She confirm my teeth was amazing. This carried on for months and then last week, I saw the hygienist who confirmed that I have gum disease. Really disappointed that the dentist are quick to collect money and not thorough enough to diagnose a problem. Now I have to see the hygienist frequently which is going to cost me fortune and I have no help of paying them but through my pocket.

Brilliant staff, I have a fear of needles and had to have anaesthetic but they were brilliant. They allowed me to have a break to get my breath back after the injection. Would highly recommend.

Dental hygienist is always informative and helpful about how to improve the overall care of my teeth and gums at home. Had a truly thorough cleaning! As I’m on a dental plan I also get products to assist my care at home which is fantastic!!

Professional, pleasant and a credit to the NHS

I was given an appointment with Lloyd Payne within 3 hours of telephoning with continuing pain, having seen him for treatment the previous Thursday. He diagnosed an infection and offered me a root canal procedure or immediate tooth extraction. At my age of 75, I decided to have the tooth giving me so much pain out! Can't thank him enough for his kindness and attention so quickly. I was so sorry to make a fuss, but I had been in agony for 10 days by this time. He is very professional, pleasant and a credit to the NHS dental service. Thank you.
