Emergency tooth extraction
I had an emergency appointment, the staff were very understanding and I was seen very quickly, which I was so grateful for. Within half an hour I was pain free and ready to go home. They are a wonderful caring dental practice. I always recommend them for their care and expertise.

Check up and Hygene appt
I booked a hygiene appt but received a call the same day to advise that I hadn't had a check up (which is necessary prior to a Hygiene appt) so I was asked to come in 30 mins earlier for the check up. I was seen 20 mins later than the time given, but the dentist did explain that he had an emergency walk in which was fine once I was advised. My check up and hygiene apt were thorough and Robyn is always lovely.
It would be nice if patients were kept informed by reception (without having to ask) when there are delays to appts. One lady waiting with her grandson was kept waiting for an hour without staff coming up to her to apologise or explain.
She had to ask at reception and was promptly letting other patients know of her frustration. This could be avoided if reception continually gave updates to patients.

Tooth extraction
A couple of genuinely painless injections to numb the area and tooth root and within 15 mins the tooth was out. A little sore after but far more bearable than the excruciating pain of the initial infection. As always great swift work carried out by the dentistry team.

Caring and helpful approach
I was given an appointment within 2 days of calling. Following an x-ray, Mr Blackman spent some time discussing the options with me. Caring and helpful approach. Unfortunately it was not possible to book a further appointment for treatment until 4 weeks time, rather than 2 weeks which was agreed, due to the surgery being so booked up, although I have been placed on a cancellation list, and told to contact them before then if the pain gets worse.
