Cost of treatment information disclosure
Six weeks ago, on the 28/03/19, following my orthodontist referral I booked an appointment for extractions of 2 teeth, I was given the date of 15/05/19 at 11:55. I soon made arrangements with my employer to have the afternoon off. I was sent reminders through e.mail and text message. On Friday 10/05/19, 3 working days before my appointment, I had a voice mail on my phone asking to contact the Practice for clarification. I was told then, that my treatment had to be payed privately as the extraction was an aesthetic procedure, not covered by NHS. Given the time restraints and the situation I was put in, I did not have the opportunity to shop around and/or prepared myself with the financial implications (3 times of what I was expecting to pay) for this lack of information .

Great first appointments, much better than my old surgery
I have found them to be super helpful from the moment I phoned up and joined. My daughter and myself had our first appointments, the dentist was super relaxed and my daughter (a nervous 4yr old) happily sat in the chair and was laid back and let him look at her teeth and put some special toothpaste in and used the little air tool, she was super excited to choose from some stickers after from the nurse. He was really helpful with advice and didn't give me the third degree about flossing like you normally get! Would definitely recommend, best dentist surgery I've ever been registered at.
