First Time check up at Parkway
I’m nervous at the dentist but they were very friendly, not pushy at all and made me feel at ease. I knew I needed some work done from a previous appointment a couple of years ago and the dentist confirmed this and gave me further advice in a kind manner. I booked the treatment and am not worried at all about returning to have it done. I also saw the hygienist who was also very friendly and gave me options to make me feel more comfortable whilst having my teeth cleaned and polished. Practice was very clean and welcoming and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful also.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction
I needed one of my wisdom teeth extracted (which wasn’t causing me any pain) so I booked it for the end of June. It was only this far away due to my working schedule and the dentist’s availability. However over the last week or so I’ve had chronic pain in that tooth. I phoned first thing this morning and got an appointment at lunch time, the receptionist wasn’t sure id be able to have it extracted but to come in any way. As soon as I saw my dentist, he was very sympathetic and said he’d get it out for me. He was great at explaining the potential pain of the needles and reassured me. When I came back in to have the tooth taken out, he told me what pain I would likely feel and made me feel that I could do it. The lovely nurse let me squeeze her hand as she could see I needed reassuring and something to hold on to. It took a matter of minutes and then I was explained to about the home care and to come back if I had any worries. Fab services, thank you!

This was a routine check-up. Mr. Blackmore was extremely diligent, he even took X-rays of two teeth caps to ensure that nothing bad was going on beneath them. I cannot remember the last time I had X-rays for this purpose so I am very impressed.

Highly impressed with everything about the practice
I have only had three visits here, each just for a checkup, but each time I have been highly impressed with everything about the practice. Reception staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the whole reception area is immaculately clean and tidy. I have never had to wait long to go in and see the dentist, so I would say that appointment timings are efficient and well run. The dentist is very pleasant and greets you in a friendly manner. I received a couple of text reminders that my appointment was due, which was very helpful. All in all I am very happy to attend this practice and would recommend it to others.
