I bit a fork and chipped my front tooth. The practice fitted me in quickly. The tooth is at the front and had to be filed and a white filling put in. The dentist carried the treatment out quickly and efficiently. Brilliant service. As it didn't take long they didn't even charge me!

I attended for an assessment of present oral health and future treatment that may be required. I was given some sound advice and made a further appointment to begin the process.

From entering the premises there is an atmosphere of professionalism but friendly

I attended on 18th December at 1635. I saw Harry Ball, a lovely young man. As I was leaving I was asked for the balance of £188 on my account. I had paid £50 - £60 on my first visit, but it soon became apparent that I needed new dentures, I paid the balance of £188 on that day,there and then on 4th September.. I told Hayley that I had already paid, she told me that the £188 could not be taken off my account unless I could show my receipts. I indeed had receipts, but not with me, I couldn't think at that time 3.5 months later where they might be, thinking of course that I would or should never have had to produce them. I was utterly humiliated, embarrassed, stressed and very upset, getting more flustered by the second. Poor Hayley was only doing her job, I felt sorry for her. She went into an inner office and she brought out Lever file/s containing your copies of receipts. After a great deal of searching by tying up my appointment dates, she found my receipt for £188. There were other patients there, I left, doing my best to keep my composure. I got into my car, and I burst into tears, I was still sobbing when I got home, my husband was furious. I am 72, a retired Accounts Supervisor, I am "old school", I pay all of my bills up front or as they become due. I am disabled, and I have a heart condition which has been causing adverse problems recently, it's not really good enough. I used to train my staff in Credit Control, not the most pleasant job, but a necessary one. I would always first and foremost, make sure that the money being chased was indeed money that was actually owed. I feel strongly that the receipt files should have been checked as soon as a deficit appeared on my account, BEFORE I was asked for the money, which, as it turns out, that I didn't owe. Whoever was doing the data entry on that day had obviously not entered he payment that I had made. Surely any deficit/ shortfall that shows up at month end or whatever accounts period, should be checked if the account doesn't balance. I have always instructed my staff that Credit Control is done over the phone or by letter, if and only if the client actually does owe money. I am very disappointed, I don't particularly want to attend my 2nd January appointment now, as I would be mortified to think that perhaps Harry and other staff members thought that I owed you money, I actually felt like a stupid old woman, which I am not. I also felt like a shoplifter who had tried to sneak through the tills without paying for my goods. Silly, absurd,stupid you might say, but put yourself in my shoes, would you like to feel this way? Very friendly reception staff, nice and welcoming as I was a new patient. The dentist was thorough and offered good advice regarding my dental hygiene, a pleasant experience and a great result as I didn't need further treatment. Look forward to my return visit in 6 months time.

Very good phoned in the morning at 10 and had a appointment at 12 as I had a painful tooth. Had an xray all ok but a appointment in the new year. Very good service

I was very happy with my experience with the fact that I was seen at very short notice on the day I phoned as I was in in extreme agony and I was very well looked after. Thank you.

Never been a fan of the dentist but all the staff at Parkway make you feel extremely welcomed and put you at ease.
