Parkway Dentalcare

Great Practice and great Dentists and Staff. They have collectively turned my fears of visiting the dentist into a routine event essential to fend off painful issues arising with my teeth.

One of my teeth was crumbling and I was told that I needed a crown. I had one fitted years ago and remembered how uncomfortable it was. I needn't have worried though, the whole procedure was nowhere near as bad as I thought, great care was taken to ensure that I was comfortable and kept informed on what was happening.

Never had any problems with the surgery

After spending some time on the net reviewing local NHS dentists in the Havant area, Parkway was the clear winner. I'm glad that I made the decision to join Parkway as the modern facilities and friendly staff made my nervous visit a pleasure in the end.

My partner and I recently signed up with Parkway Dentalcare but have not yet had our first NHS appointment. Unfortunately and after 20 odd years of no problems, I found myself with a severe infection which required treatment. I telephoned Parkway to ask for an appointment but (and a bit more about this later) I was told that as I had not had my first NHS appointment, I would have to be seen as a private patient. Under the circumstances and because of the extreme pain I was suffering, I agreed to this.

I was seen that same morning by an extremely helpful dentist who took an xray and prescribed medicine. This did not cost a great deal - about £44.00 and the medicine is beginning to work.

Now, my confusion arose because when we were signing up, we knew we could not be seen until 2018 and as we had had recent check ups, we were not concerned by this. I did, at the time, ask if we could make an appointment for 6 months time but the receptionist said if we did that, we could not have an emergency appointment. So when I phoned in for an emergency appointment, I was very confused to be told that I couldn't have one because I hadn't had my first NHS appointment. However, that aside, I am pleased with the way I was treated and I look forward to my first NHS appointment in the New Year.

Great service, friendly reception staff. Saw Harry who was great very reassuring and I ended up with the smoothest filling I have ever had. Very pleased and all for a very reasonable price!

I am a new patient and have only visited twice but I have been very impressed. The surgery itself is immaculate. The receptionists are all really friendly, professional and efficient.

They dealt with me quickly and politely but I also heard them deal with other people while I was waiting and they were helpful and courteous to everyone and showed genuine patient care. The Dentist and his assistant were brilliant. They were friendly and reassuring on both my visits and provided excellent treatment.

I'm a very nervous person but you always treat me with respect, and everyone are always aware of this. I would not hesitate to recommending Parkway to anyone. I have already recommended my son-in-law who is now attending Parkway.

As always we are treated with the utmost care by both Lloyd and Robyn, they both look after us and our teeth brilliantly and both of them are so gentle and caring. Would recommend Parkway Dentist to friends and family.

Robyn in particular is a fantastic Hygienist; considering how many patients she probably sees everyday, she remembered me from my last appointment and is so lovely, caring and just has a natural, friendless about her which I really appreciate.
