Good experience, friendly and welcoming staff

The hygienist appointment went well. Robin was very good as always, welcoming, friendly and engaging in conversation and always remembers my health. We exchanged good honest feedback on my teeth and I know what I need to do. The Robin and her colleague have great experience and keen to improve the services for others.

Attended an emergency appointment today the dentist was fantastic and careful not to cause pain as I’ve got an abscess , can’t fault the surgery , only fault is that the phones are never answered when you call and resorted to emails in the end and got a call back , Thats ok for me but for the dissabled and elderly people who don’t email or text this is a big problem , and that’s why I gave four stars .

Broken tooth creating an ulcer on her tongue.

Very poor treatment, the dentist in question said she was putting a filling in the broken tooth. This hasn’t been done as my wife never had an injection and no remedial work was carried out. It would appear a temporary plug was put on the tooth with the dentist saying “it probably won’t last”. It didn’t, as soon as my wife used the mouthwash provided a bit broke off. The tooth still has rough edges and nothing has been resolved at a cost of £73. My wife returned to the practice an hour later and a further appointment has been booked. In the meantime the ulcer on her tongue will not heal.

Caring and professional

I attended the surgery for an extraction of a back tooth. Because there was a lot of infection I needed a lot of injections to numb my mouth. My dentist Hannah was extremely caring and took time to explain everything and also continually check how I was. Even when I said to continue when I experienced some pain she insisted on waiting and wouldn't continue until I couldn't feel anything. Her assistant (I don't know her name) was also very kind. These two ladies made a difficult extraction a lot easier for me.
