If you are on the dental plan, you get a check up every 6 months, and discounts on work needed, but tbh, most things get picked up on these checks before anything nasty develops.

Treated me with dignity and respect
After many years of not receiving professional dental care (due to rude, rough and unsatisfactory treatment by other dentists) I am now in desperate need of saving my teeth.
I cannot emphasise enough how caring and considerate all staff at Distinctly Dental behaved towards me (a very anxious patient). They were very thorough, listened to everything I told them and treated me with dignity and respect without any personal, critical judgement.
I was shown my X-rays and photographs, which were analysed in my presence and everything was explained in detail.
Dr Cooper provided me with a list of the urgent issues that needed addressing and we discussed various treatment options. Together we prioritised the list and came up with a treatment plan for the next few months.
I feel fully confident in saying that I wasn't offered any unnecessary treatment - something I know happens frequently to other people at other dental practices.

I discovered Distinctly after struggling to get appointments at my regular dentists whilst having surgery. The appointment was with Locum Dentist and she was thoroughly explaining what she was doing to my young boy making him comfortable and understanding the process. The job was done to good standard which was restoration of the chipped tooth.
Thanks to the Dentist for great job.
Also to the regular staff for making visit more pleasant with their greetings .
Keep up the good work. We are very lucky to have this practice locally as had extremely bad experience with other common NHS Dentist in Hatfield.

I cannot thank you enough for the care and service I received yesterday. My veneer (right at the front of course) had fallen out the previous evening and I had 15 family members coming for lunch that day. So to say I was in a panic is an understatement. I didn’t think I would find a dental surgery open between Christmas and New Year but I found you very quickly in a google search and you couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I had an appointment that morning and my veneer was back in place within half an hour so I could return home and enjoy the rest of the day. The care I received from the team at Distinctly Dental was second to none. So lovely to have that experience. Thank you.

Cold sore treatment
I booked for cold sore laser treatment. Karen was great, although most of my cold sore was already stage 3 (scabbing) I could feel it was still breaking out across my lower lip. The pain and tingling was almost instantly stopped and now 12 hours later the healing process is well underway. I can't recommend this treatment enough, if you can get the laser done in the tingling stage it can even stop the col sore appearing at all. If you have it done at breakout/scabbing stage it can speed up recovery from the usual 10-14 days down to a day or two.

Another successful session
My teeth were measured up for a night guard in two sessions. Then another further two sessions for fitting and review, all of which in a month. I quickly got used to the night guard and have been using it for three weeks now.

A positive exprience
M appointment was lengthy - over 2 hours. I needed treatment that would need great care, expertise and patience. This was fully achieved and I was able to experience Karen’s wonderful dental ability.
During my time she used complicated ( to me ) technology - 3D imaging- to aid in constructing a crown, which needed to be fitted into a less than perfect position. The time spent on this required perseverance and patience. Needless to say this was completely successful and I am very pleased with the result. I will be having further treatment in the near future.
