Distinctly Dental

Although I’m not a patient myself, I wanted to share my thoughts after looking after my son following his treatment at Distinctly Dental.

I first contacted the practice to ask whether they could remove his wisdom teeth under sedation. We’d already been through a long process with another dentist who referred us to the hospital because the removal was a bit complicated. After months of waiting, we were told we’d need to start the whole process from scratch, which felt like a setback. That’s when I decided to try Distinctly Dental.

They booked my son in for a consultation quickly, and two weeks later, he was in for the procedure.

I can’t remember the name of the dentist who carried out the removal, but she was brilliant. Really took her time, didn’t rush anything, and handled it all with care. The anaesthetist, a South African gentleman, was also excellent. He explained everything clearly what to expect during the procedure, how things might feel, and the aftercare too. I felt reassured just listening to him.

Sam, the manager, really stood out to me. She checked in on my son during the procedure, kept me updated, and offered drinks and conversation while I waited. It made a big difference.

Overall, I’m really grateful to the whole team at Distinctly Dental. They made what could’ve been a stressful experience much easier to navigate. Thank you.

The treatment was good, but again had to wait in the waiting room for my appointment running 10 minutes late

Had a long illness and breakdown, so this was the first dental appointment in 7 years.
Unbelievable care and understanding shown.
Allowed me breaks when needed whilst still explaining things during those breaks.
I was extremely apprehensive but Jaime and Maria’s brilliance in keeping me comfortable and not letting anxiety build was phenomenal, as was the treatment.

My first visit for treatment st Distinctly Dental. The staff were friendly, professional and made me feel at home including having a free coffee in the waiting room. I recomend them!

However, because the team are so friendly they make any visit a pleasure - even if you have to have more work done on your teeth.

Distinctly Dental helped me with a same-day emergency tooth extraction. I was very nervous as it was a lower wisdom tooth that was close to a nerve, but Dr Ezgi Cilingir and team put me at ease throughout. More time was spent on waiting for the anaesthetic to kick in than on the removal of the actual tooth. So happy that the team was able to help me within a matter of hours of my initial call.
