I was experiencing incredible pain and was relieved that I could see a dentist that day. I was dealt with professionally and with great care. An X-ray was taken and an infection was discovered. A course of antibiotics was prescribed with advice to return for treatment. I cannot fault the treatment I received and would not hesitate to recommend Distinctly Dental.

Just had a second root canal done. I didn’t feel a thing, not even the injection, same with the previous one. I would not let anyone other than Karen do this. A great dentist who really cares about her patients.

I have recently had appointments with both the dentist and dental hygienist. Both appointments were thorough with good explanations of what was being done and why. All interactions were professional and polite.

I'm only a short walk or drive away from my dental surgery which allows for prompt arrival. Covid related restrictions and surgery procedures require patients to wait outside in the car before being called in, which is a reassuring practice that safeguards both staff and patients from unnecessary crowding inside and allows for sanitizing and other chores between patients. As always, my last visit for my dental hygiene was pleasant and hassle-free.

i get 1 or 2 cold sores a year. I recently had alingers fitted (by another dentist) and the trauma to my lips has meant i've unusally had 3 consecutive coldsores week after week. I woke up last wednesday with the mother of all cold sores, 3 or 4 large blisters covering half my lower lip and it was throbbing only 24 hours i saw the last one fully heal. I had been told in the states people have laser treatment to stop cold sores and I was willing to try anything. I googled and found my nearist dentist offering this service was Distinctly dental. I was a little sceptical but i thought nothing ventured, nothing gained. I called them and they squeezed me in that afternoon. After the quick 10 minute, virtually painess treatment the throbbing had stopped almost complety. The apprearance had drastically reduced instantly and i felt so much better than when i had arrived. The following morning i woke to find absolutely no trace of the cold sore at all. It was nothing short of miraculous. I can't recommend this treatment enough, a game changer to those who suffer from cold sores!! The best bit is people report no cold sores for a couple of years on the treated area!

Safety is taken seriously and prioritised with virus killers, sanitiser, minimal contact etc. Arrive just on time, as you may be asked to wait outside to prioritise safety.
The appointment covered all the needs as usual. In a covid world this is as good as it gets.
