Can't thank the dentist enough
I was due to go into hospital for major surgery on Monday 11th April and developed horrendous toothache on the 7th April. I was given an emergency appointment on the 8th, which I can’t thank the dentist enough. The problem appeared to be an abscess and I was given antibiotics to relieve the pain whilst I underwent the hospital surgery. Unfortunately by the 11th, the abscess had worsened and I rang to see if I could get another appointment as I was due at the hospital at 11 am. The dentist saw me at 10 am and I have to say he was wonderful. I have a phobia about dentists and was extremely anxious, to say the least. His manner and understanding were really appreciated and after a careful analysis of what was going on treated the abscess to remove the pain, whilst taking an X-ray and passing it to a maxi facial surgeon for further analysis. I can not fault the dental practice as they were wonderful and to date what the dentist did on the 11th has relieved the pain.

Feeling very relaxed
I'm normally very nervous about the dentists but today once I was in the consultancy room I was put at ease by Kathryn. Very nice and friendly. She empathised with my sensitivity and gave me a hand clean instead of the drill. So sweet.
I was feeling very relaxed when I went back into reception and the girls there were happy and smiling (could tell by their eyes as they had masks on). Thank you everyone.

This was my first appointment with hygienist Margaret. I loved Alex doing my teeth so was not really keen on having someone ‘new’ following Alex’s change of career. However I was delighted with Margaret. She is very good. My teeth felt very clean after their workout. Margaret is very professional and efficient. So since I can no longer recommend Alex I’m pleased to say I’m very happy recommending Margaret.

Paid forty pounds for a ten-minute appointment and did not need a scale and polish. This is what happens when dentists employ people freelance. Also, the staff at the reception desks overcharged me for a toothbrush and then refused to give me one in kind, the culture with receptionists is lacking and not professional.
